I would gladly make such a map and will ask you what you think about this idea? I'm not sure this is the correct place to make this subject but couldn't find a site where ALL the Drupalcon were mentioned.
A test site can be seen here http://www.tinemuller.dk/drupalcon/map/ and only the first name is for Drupal the two other links are for libraries. :-)
Click the link and from the InfoWindow click Cartrip and you will see that in the dropdown menu the address and coordinates are here for San Francisco. You could also read the english help instructions.
It will be so for all the Drupalcons in the world. Let me hear what you think and if you have some questions?

DrupalCon list, and other Drupal maps
For a list -not map yet- of past and future DrupalCons, see the Events section.
Also, some examples of Drupal maps:
So are you saying that MY map
So are you saying that MY map is not needed? Just thought it was funny with my little animation car driving instead of just a static map. :-)

On the contrary, a map with locations tagged "Paris 2009", "San Francisco 2010", etc., would be interesting indeed. There are other Drupal maps, but I've not heard of a DrupalCon map (I can be wrong, naturally). See the events link on a previous comment for a list of past and future DrupalCons between 2005 and 2011 (two per year now, three soon).
Love the Map
what was the recipe for this? What modules did you use.
I have made a new map because of DrupalConCph 23-27 August 2010
I have used the great module iframe http://drupal.org/project/iframe to make this http://googlemapsapi.tinemuller.dk/ - try the examples in the menu Cartrip - Drupalcon map - Drupalcon cartrip. I think it looks great and it's functioning and no one can see that an iframe is used - I think. :-)
The real sites used in the iframes are http://www.tinemuller.dk/drupalcartrip/ - http://www.tinemuller.dk/drupalcon/map/ - http://www.tinemuller.dk/drupalcon/cartrip/
Hope to make maps like this the Drupal way if I ever get good enough. :-)
