Hello

Do you like to spend you weekends meeting people and hacking away on Drupal??/

If so , I would like to invite the members of this group to a really cool opportunity and event. The Cleveland 20/30 club, which is the largest young professional organization in the country, is in the process of redeveloping their website. We have chosen Drupal as the technology and we are going to try a different approach for the development of the site.

After the success of Startup Weekend Cleveland, we want to see how much of a site we can build over a series of 54 hour sprints over 2-3 weekends. This approach has been tried by Coding for a Cause http://www.codingforacause.org/CFAC/Welcome.html and Give Camp http://givecamp.org/. We have already secured the LeanDog boat, which is the coolest tech space in the city, as the location for these event.

So if you would like to help out a great organization and have some fun sharing your Drupal knowledge, wee need 5 or so developers and themers to donate their time. Please let me know by posting a comment below and we can hook up off line.

Thanks,
Greg Svitak

Hi Ken,

Great to hear that you are interested. We will have more details in the next week or so but we know we are going to have 1 weekend in January and another in Feb.

Hello

We made a quick decision on the dates for the development weekends.

The first weekend will be January 22nd-24th at the old Horneblowers restaurant in downtown Cleveland, now called LeanDog.

The second weekend will be February 26-28.
