I'm engaging a client on a community network, and I've garnered some interest in a VoIP piece, namely, the ability for instant communication regarding meeting schedules. The part of my proposal that caught their attention was:
"Say you have a meeting scheduled and it needs to be canceled. using phone integration, a member might need to cancel a meeting or reschedule it and it is a time sensitive situation (last minute for instance) . If the cancellation impacted a scheduled event occurring on the same day, the organizer could enter a message onto a web site, as text and as a voice attachment, and it would be call or text all potential attendees of the event immediately."
Features it needs are:
1) Automatic Dialing (eek, Robo-calls! There is good in them after all)
2) Automatic texting
3) Saving Audio to a Node
I'm going to propose that we list simple business needs for the voip module. I'll be happy to track and cull them. This seems like it would help to define the functions that would be useful in the module.
