Is SMS Framewrok actively mantained and developed?

I see the last closed issue is some 17 weeks old. Is this module ensemble currently mantained?

The maintainers seemed to have abandoned coding the project. I still see Will White now and then answering questions in the issue queue but no commits.

I'm hoping the project is on hiatus, not abandoned. I guess the proper place to inquire would be via support issue at http://drupal.org/project/issues/smsframework

I did wonder about this, but I never want to harass Will or anybody who maintains it in their spare time.

I am not really coding much Drupal anymore, but I know the code pretty well and my impression is that people really appreciate the existence of this project. It would be sad to see it fall by the wayside.

I am VERY! grateful for the voluntary effort Will has spent on this project. However I wouldn't want to see it die, since there seems to be a lot of vested interest in the project. What I recommend is that perhaps a coder like you aspope or anyone else interested could apply to be a co-maintainer.
