Contemplate teaser distorts page.tpl.php

Events happening in the community are now at Drupal community events on www.drupal.org.

i have a simple CCK content type: Title, 2 small text fields, a url with text & body. all the latest 5.1 components

a somewhat modified phptemplate theme; a "pagewrap" div is used to center the body in the browser window. this works fine.

if i take the code from Contemplate's body window & put it into "node.content_type.tpl.php" everything works fine -- except there is no "read more".

if i removed the tpl file & use Contemplate instead -- just the body, not the teaser -- my node (on its full page) is perfect. the teaser on the home page is perfect too: not styled, but all nodes reside within the "pagewrap" div.

if i use the teaser functionality of Contemplate, the home page teaser is good ("read more" is there) but not only is the my content type within some odd div (with a border) but after the last instance of my content type on the home page (there are 4), all subsequent nodes are outside the "pagewrap" div. only the use of teaser causes this behavior. the site is still in development, and it doesn't make it look bad, so i'll leave it up to be looked at: Oregon for Obama.

i want to use Contemplate on lots of sites, but this is not a useful behavior.

Is this still an issue for you? Just looking at your site, I can't tell what's wrong...

Similar contemplate teaser issue

Similar issue

When contemplate + ecommerce + excerpt are installed, the full product body is displayed instead of the teaser. I haven't checked it in other situations yet.

My only solution was to use CCK add a second separate teaser field and then I could user it for my products list teaser view and it worked correctly.

I have opened an issue for that.
