The votes and comments are in. Taking a logical union of all the inputs results in an empty set. In other words it doesn’t appear there is a way to satisfy everyone’s needs and wants. So this schedule is a best cut, and recognizes that not everyone will be able to attend all the sessions.
• January 2, 6 pm to 8 pm, Kickoff meeting
• January 3, 8:30 am to 12:30 pm
• January 5, 6 pm to 8 pm
• January 6, 6 pm to 8 pm
• January 7, 6 pm to 8 pm
• January 11, 8:30 am to 12:30 pm
• January 12, 6 pm to 8 pm
There is one evening session left to schedule. It will be either January 14, 6 pm to 8 pm as part of a possible Drupal Users Group Meeting or January 8, 6 pm to 8 pm, we hope to have a final answer to this question by the end of the week.
We're still working on a location, or locations, for the meetings, but at least for the January 2nd kick off, I suggest the Starbucks at 1244 Western Avenue, http://www.starbucks.com/store/10254/us/1244-western-ave/1244-western-av...

vote for Jan 8th evening session
Not sure what's determining the scheduling of the remaining evening session or if we're taking more polls, but for what it's worthy, my vote is for Jan 8th. Thanks for all your good work on this! Debra

Attending from Remote...
Hi,
I live in Virginia and work in Washington, DC. Is it possible for me to attend these sessions from remote? Please let me know.
Thanks

Must be present to win
Sundar, Patrick is right from my perspective.
This is not a formal class, nor have we set up any kind of infrastructure to support remote attendance. We're not even 100% sure where we are meeting could support that, since we are starting off at a Starbucks. This is truly a study group where I expect we'll help each other cover the materials listed in the blog post.
Sorry about that.
Thanks for the date/times,

We're currently waiting to
We're currently waiting to give us a heads up if it will be at a hotel near UAlbany tonight or not. Failing that, I believe starbucks is the back up for the forseeable future
January 5, 6, 7 is at Towneplace Suites
We got confirmation the breakfast room at Towneplace Suites is available for the evenings of January 5, 6, and 7so we'll plan on meeting there. The 11th would have been an issue for them since that is during breakfast. And they have a large group on the 12th so they can't accommodate us then.

Rest of the Domain List
We've been working our way through the domain list. I think we're a bit behind by now, but the last couple of domains look like they will go fast.
First thing on Sunday morning will be to hear from Chris what he learned taking the exam on Saturday. And we have to finish up the presentations from Wednesday's session that we didn't get to.
The balance of the domains we haven't finished are:
Domain 5.0: Template Functions
5.1 Demonstrate ability to use theme() functions for overriding custom output
5.2 Demonstrate ability to write template pre-process functions for overriding custom output
Domain 6.0: Layout Configuration
6.1 Demonstrate ability to configure field display and view modes for content types
6.2 Demonstrate ability to create and configure Blocks for building layouts
6.3 Demonstrate ability to create and configure Views for building content list pages, blocks and feeds
Domain 7.0: Performance
7.1 Demonstrate ability to analyze and resolve site performance issues arising from site configuration
7.2 Demonstrate ability to analyze and resolve security issues arising from site custom code
Domain 8.0: Security
8.1 Demonstrate ability to analyze and resolve security issues arising from site configuration
8.2 Demonstrate ability to analyze and resolve security issues arising from site custom theme
