Hi all, I'm Ken Rickard, the MySite developer and maintainer.
I started this project to help develop site personalization for our media company (http://morris.com). I am a relatively novice PHP developer (I was a literature major) and greatly appreciate Drupal for providing a structured environment for learning development.
I've been working with Drupal since 2005, and this is one of two modules that I've released out of about 10 that I've written.
The MySite module has some good features, but is running into the limitations of my skill. So this group has a couple of purposes:
- To share best-practice implementations.
- To host "Droplet" code that people have developed.
- To roadmap new features.
- And to fish for a co-maintainer for the module.

Use MySite for creating new content
Hi!
I like your module, and visit your demo site, and it is fantastic!!!
I want to give the users in my site the ability to create their own personal site, with the ability to choose one of some given themes, and organize the page, ans so on.. in the manner you present on the demo site.
BUT, one big difference is that I want to give them the ability to add new content to their "own site", not only to get it from the existing items/information in my drupal site.
Is it possible?
or maybe, you have better idea/ more suitable module for my needs??

I am not sure that anyone has released such a module, though I have seen code that does this.
You can use mysite_display() and mysite_render() to create content outside of MySite, so writing a module that accepted a callback and generated the content as a JSON or AJAX file would not be very difficult.
