Hello Folks,
As you may have seen on our blog, GVS is hosting a D7CX sprint on April 4th.
What is a D7CX sprint you ask? It's a time for folks interested in working on upgrading all the wonderful contributed modules from Drupal 6 so that they work with Drupal 7. It's a time not only for upgrading, but also testing, documenting, and bugfixing for the many modules that already have dev or alpha releases ready for Drupal 7.
We will provide snacks, beverages, lunch, internet, and power. You've got to bring a positive attitude, an interest in helping, and some Drupal upgrading skillz. Refreshments will be paid for with the proceeds from our training on April 3rd.
We hope you can make it!

Might make it
But you do know Apr 4th is Easter right?
yes
That's why it's an all-day open house event and folks are encouraged to show up only when able.
We chose the date in large part because it's when Ezra's in town. The coincidence with a major holiday is an unfortunate coincidence. I hope this could be the first of other similar local/regional sprints - hopefully on less conflicted days!
