Spanish Installation Profile of a Drupal BB

NOTE: I have no idea who these people are, just found them on a thread on drupal.org.

Some folks have come up with an installation profile and downloadable fileset of what they call a DrupalBB.

Babelfish and google translate can help the spanishtards like me.

Anyone wanna take a crack at it and see how complete it is?

If the site goes offline, I have caches and copies of the files that I can host also.

This project was initiated by me.

The proyect is in Spanish but I soon hope to have the time necessary to translate the documentation to english.

DrupalBB is working in www.esdrupal.org, feel free to test it in the forum of this site.

drupalbb is not a module.

drupalbb = drupal core + contrib modules + config

drupalbb use the following drupal modules:

The installation of DrupalBB is similar to drupal instalation:

  1. Download drupalbb-xx-xx.tar.gz and install it like Drupal.

  2. download the base dump drupalbb-xx-xx.sql.gz and override the base created in 1.

  3. Enter to the site with user admin and password admin.

  4. Enter to locales and disable spanish :D

You have to override the database because there is not a distribucion profile created now, but I like soon to create a profile so you don't have to override the database.

The project is in early state, but functional and tested, this project was created to migrate an spanish site to Drupal.

You can convert an existing drupal forum to one similar to drupalBB following the steps in this article. It's in spanish but I try to translate it to english soon.
