So I started this module, Activity Module, in an attempt at recreating the Facebook functionality of being able to see what your friends are doing on a Drupal site. The friends are defined through the Buddylist Module so Activity is dependant upon Buddylist. The module still needs a lot of love, but it's an attempt.
My question for you guys is this: is this a worthy cause? I mean, if a site is not interested in integrating Facebook, but would still like some similar functionality, I would think the module is worth putting a little time into, but I'd like to hear other perspectives from those of you who have more experience with DrupalForFacebook.
I'm very interested in DrupalForFacebook as well, and am going to be setting up a simple app (not too useful) for http://lullabytes.net that will allow you to have random Lullabot quotes and sounds bytes from lullabytes.net on your Facebook page, but this will give me the experience points at least ;) From there I'll be delving into dev'ing more apps for my sponsor Sony BMG (please avert from your overwhelming urges to flame ;) ).
Thanks!

This is very useful functionality
And I would love to see the development continue --
While I understand the urge to go to Facebook from a strictly commercial perspective (Facebook has mucho users, users==potential customers==mucho bucks), I just can't get around the fact that going to facebook means throwing your personal information/data into the void.
Having this functionality available within a Drupal site eliminates a need to go to facebook -- and, for some uses (a school, or a corporate intranet) using facebook isn't an option.
So, my .02 -- I'd love to see the development continue on this.
Cheers,
Bill

Sure
This is the type of thing I meant when I talked about Facebook-style apps integrated with the MySite module.
Once you have a stable release, I'll see about adding a MySite plugin to handle the module.
