Drupal.net.nz, drupal.geek.nz (and drupal.*.nz?) ideas

More than a year ago I picked up drupal.net.nz off an expired domains auction site -- probably Expired Domains. I have no personal nor business use for it or interest in it, but I'm not about to give it up to some {insert your favourite swearword here} domain squatter either. Some talk has occurred in the Christchurch DUG about how it could be used for the drupal community. I think this discussion should be opened up to the NZ DUG. Please contribute your ideas here.

We'll probably discuss and maybe even decide and/or take action on these ideas at the Christchurch geekend Nov 3. So get you're ideas in by then if you want them heard! :)

Do any other NZ drupalers have drupal.org.nz, or any other drupal.*.nz domain name? Could we collaborate?

I just checked whois records;

A Daniel Hada from Webstar and/or Netkit in Christchurch has drupal.co.nz; http://whois.domaintools.com/drupal.co.nz
A Martin Baylis in Onehunga AKL has drupal.org.nz; http://whois.domaintools.com/drupal.org.nz

Does anyone know theses people? Or are they part of this community and/or group? Could we discuss collaborating?

I just picked up drupal.geek.nz (I can't believe it was free!) So we can add that to the discussion here.

After discussion at the http://groups.drupal.org/node/6459 we decided to use drupal.net.nz to make site with

Aggregation of drupal NZ feeds;
- g.d.o NZ nodes (events wiki pages, etc.)
- drupal NZ companies' feeds
- drupal NZ developer's feeds
- other feeds? Please suggest
Directories of;
- Drupal companies in NZ
- Drupal geeks / developers in NZ (with location data) (users)
- Noteworthy NZ Drupal sites
Calendar display of drupal NZ events from g.d.o
No features already implemented on g.d.o so as not to fragment the NZ drupal community.

Egressive has kindly offered to contribute hosting.

I've offered the domains, and will choose a contrib or core theme and possibly tweak a little if required. Please make suggestions as to themes that you think would
