Informal theming presentation
Hi Dennis,
I could possibly give an informal presentation on theming and theme functions... kind of like a general approach to getting full control over the HTML. It wouldn't be a fancy presentation but maybe just step through some basic ideas, how to use the drupal API etc

Drupal is big. I only know the bits and pieces that make it work for us.

Dennis,
When you say "basics" are you talking about usage/setup type things (Like a tricks on using a php snippit in a block) or are you talking about basics in terms of code (Like a simple module walkthrough or theming example). I'm willing to demonstrate something basic tomorrow if you'd like, but I don't have enough time to put together a presentation on anything code related.
Maybe an easy way to get started is to ask a question- What is something you'd like to do, but are not quite sure how to do? Or conversely, What is something you're having problems with, and would like to see some "tips/tricks" about?
I would also point out some of the topics/lessons used on the drupaldojo
