Event type:
User group meeting
So we're getting started with our meetings. If someone is interested in hosting the next meeting in Hamilton, please let me know.
Location

Agenda (ish)
We'll start by talking about everyone's current Drupal interests and skill levels, and then start planning some sessions that speak to those common interests.
If time permits, we can go through some of what's new in Drupal 7 and why it's going to be a kickass release for both end users and developers.
Completely informal, come even if you don't know what Drupal is but are interested in finding out.

WNYLUG
I've posted this to the Western NY Linux User Group.
. . .
You may also want to post to the WNYDUG on g.d.o. There's a chance I'll be at each meeting, seeking D7 info and sharing what I have picked up on it so far.
John, would be happy to have
John, would be happy to have you over for the meeting. Thanks for the tip.
Also you might want to check out my friend Chris Ennest's blog Get Out Niagara, he's sure to have ideas and possibly even footage for what you're doing with your film. It's not Drupal, but it's still pretty good :D
Cheers!
@brcline, thanks, and welcome to the group
Thank you, Trevor!
Have NEXUS, will travel.
Yes, it would be great to set up some coordinated Drupal meetings and outings. Even a Skype connection or whatnot might be worth trying sometime.
Thanks for the blog tip, too. My Niagara documentary work is insured/funded only Statesside, but that doesn't mean I won't promote internationally. That's where D7 is supposed to fit in. . . .
jpw, If you want you can add

Cool the very first Niagara Hamilton Drupal meetup!!! count on me!
Confirming
Just confirming for everyone that we're meeting at the Merchant Ale House Downtown at 7pm. I'll be there early in case anyone is just coming straight from work or whatnot.
Looking forward to seeing everyone!

Thanks!
Everyone's knowledge, enthusiasm and friendliness combined to make this meetup a wild success.
Expectations exceeded--keep dong what you're doing.
