Is there a feature list and competition analysis Drupal or non Drupal intranet usable out of box ?
The main supects (for me) would be :
Build on top of Drupal http://commons.acquia.com & http://openatrium.com
In OpenSource http://buddypress.org/
In MS http://sharepoint.microsoft.com/
In Saas http://www.jivesoftware.com/ for business and http://ning.com for general public
If not already the case we can try to do that together...
We have quite some material in previous discutions
http://groups.drupal.org/node/53268
http://groups.drupal.org/node/45468
On top of my head, I rember among other participation about packaging from OpenPublish's guys
and users stories setup by brightlemon http://www.google.com/moderator/#16/e=6c99
I Cross posted to have the feedback of the user and decision maker that are testing the two Drupal solutions.

There is a similar disction in BuddyPress's website http://buddypress.org/community/groups/drupal-commons-vs-buddypress
and in ning http://creators.ning.com/forum/topics/alternatives-1

No, but that's not to say you couldn't make one. You should narrow your focus though: even Drupal Commons, OpenAtrium, and Drupal core all have different purposes, primary features, and target audiences. Be specific about whether you are analyzing social networking tools (Ning, BuddyPress, Joomla! with JomSocial) or enterprise social tools (Drupal Commons, Jive SBS, Telligent) or intranet tools (OpenAtrium, SharePoint, Alfresco) or frameworks with social capability (Drupal).
When I distinguish between social networks and enterprise social, I mean that social networks are about users and their content while enterprise social is about businesses and their customer relationships around their products or services. I think of intranets as having some sort of issue-tracking system with grouping by topic and document management. Frameworks can do anything but not usually out of the box.
Several of the products I listed can be stretched to do more than one thing, but it's better to focus on what they're designed to do rather than what they possibly could do if you pushed their limits. You'll get a better experience that way. There are also tools that fall into each category that I didn't list, and it's possible that I have some tools improperly categorized.
Very interested by your input
I have read

How could we work on that ?
We could use the users stories of BrightLemon as first list to be match.
I just register in your demo
I'm not sure what you mean. If you want to help with the code or testing, you can submit patches to the Facebook-style Statuses module or the Facebook-style Micropublisher module. If you want to speed up development, you can contribute.
Since you've read those articles you've probably noticed that I intend to create a social networking Drupal distribution myself at some point -- but as that process hasn't begun yet, there's not much to help with there for now.
I think I'more to give you "product owner" point of view
And this sort discution and feature listing are especialy interesting to have when you gather requirement before you create your social networking Drupal distribution.
What do you think ?
.
I haven't done any discussion or feature listing. Something like that would be useful, yes, but I'm not going to be the one to do the work. I have too much else to do.

Distinctions are difficult. In your example for the intranet tools i would put sharepoint and alfresco in the corner of document management systems (focusing on assets) and open atrium in the corner of collaboration platforms (focusing on communication). All can be repurposed as intranet tools but they are different beasts.
An high level document would be also usefull for decision makers
Acquia have a lot of content aiming at decision maker.
For instance this comparaison of entreprise social communities (Jiive vs Drupal Communs)
http://acquia.com/resources/library/building-enterprise-social-communiti...
And also detail list of functionalities used by competitor
http://acquia.com/blog/features-used-80-social-sites
Should we not do something together ?
There is a lot of other white documents. The first steep would be to list the existing material (not to duplicate effort)
Did anyone care to put this list together ?
Very interesting user' feedback on commons with competitive scor

I copy and paste there as you need to register to http://commons.acquia.com to read it. I hope It will boost interest in this conversation.

If its helpful, here is an analysis of Drupal
Last year for Drupalcamp Atlanta, I presented on the topic of Drupal and its capabilities relative to the competition. Seeing this discussion, I offer you what I found... http://www.dominict.net/node/113
Note that there are several images of comparison charts in the blog post. So, it will take a little while to load.
For what it's worth
I've responded on the Commons thread referenced by JB Ingold above about modules Drupal has that can compete with Yammer --
Also, I published a blog post today analyzing Drupal Commons: http://www.mediacurrent.com/blogs/analysis-acquias-drupal-commons
