Buddylist2 is ready for testing!
I started developing buddylist2 a while ago, and now I need some feedback and/or serious issues to finish it. After a stable version i will port it to drupal6.
I have written a little documentation to get started. (suggestions for improvement is welcome)
it would be glad to have a stable version soon.

I like this
I really like that this package depends on views for pages and blocks. Although I appreciate the work by developers, but it sucks when a modules forces you to have a URL you don't want to exist, or a block you can't really customize other than turning it on or off. Buddylist2 is an example to be followed by modules like activity. Thanks for all your hard work.
Regarding http://drupal.org/node/217114:
I think this would be useful. Could any methods/code be borrowed from the user relationships module? It would be nice to have a standard set of predefined relationships by admin, but allow comments/annotation per relationship from the end users kind of like Facebook.
Yep, so many module dependencies have to catch up.
I think this is really important. Good views integration from both modules would provide a lot of great possibilities.
