Open Knowledge Foundation (OKF) Weblog, 21 August 2010:
We’re delighted to see that the data.gov.uk folks have released the code for their CKAN Drupal module. As many will know, the OKF’s CKAN powers data.gov.uk as well as over a dozen other data catalogues around the world.....

CKAN is a system provided by the OKF that allows to build a(n) (open) catalogue of government data - many European countries are using this system already - at the moment also in Austria (where I come from - see german webpage: http://gov.opendata.at) we are in the final phase to start using CKAN in the future to build a catalogue of available gov - data - sets. So it is very good news that here the connection froom CKAN to the Drupal plattform has been done...looking forward what is going to happen in the Open Government Data topic here in Drupal in the near future. Btw: the Drupal CKAN module seems to be available on drupal.org soon!
