A research group from Ateneo is inviting interested developers in a
focused group discussion (FGD) on FOSS development.
Topics will include the following:

Software/Deployment stack usage (databases, web servers, os). Why
use FOSS platform? -
Using FOSS and Advocacy efforts.

FOSS communities.
No formal/strict defined format. It will be a dinner with some
questions and answers revolving on the above topics.
They would like to have two groups with at most 9 members;
Freelancers and employed developers using FOSS development tools.
The FGD/dinner will be on the following dates:
- Freelance foss developers: 26 Feb 2008 @ 7 PM.
- Employed developers: 28 Feb 2008 @ 7 PM.
The discussion will be somewhere in Makati. Please confirm by
replying to this email (rbahaguejr@gmail.com) if you can join. Please indicate in which
group you belong. The final venue will then sent to you. You can
invite others foss developers. But they should also confirm their
attendance.
