I just tried to install the OM Broadcast Synchronization module so that I could get a nice looking feed from the Telvue onto our Drupal site. I'm not seeing the permissions for the OM Broadcast Synchronization on the admin side and I don't see the new content types that I am supposed to after the install.
Any though on what I am doing wrong?

The basic schedule display /
The basic schedule display / airing synchronization was moved out of OM Broadcast Synchronization and into OM Airings a few weeks ago by kreynen in an effort to keep that piece simple. OM Broadcast Synchronization is in the midst of being converted to OM Playback Servers, which will contain all the more complex playback server specific submodules.
So short answer is that you should be able to get rid of OM Broadcast Sync, and install OM Airings instead to achieve your goal (Denver Open Media is using it for their schedule display at the moment):
