Just wanted to throw some discussion on potential features for the user profiles and social networking side of the site.
- post resume
- list skills on profile
- create a bio
- search for available designers/creative pros/other Drupal people
- contact others on site
- add "friends"? bookmark other users?
- link to portfolio
- link to my site(s)
- post job openings

I think it would be great to try to pair seasoned themers and designers to newbies that reach out for help in this group. Since we can't address Drupal's usability issues overnight, it's a great way to get new users over the steep learning curve.
The format could be like a ride board (or forum) where newbies talk about their projects and their expereince and they get matched with an existing member.
