One OpenID login, One Drupal Site, Multiple "Identities" for a single user?

We encourage users to post events happening in the community to the community events group on https://www.drupal.org.

Hello,

I'm wondering if the following use case scenario example is possible.

I want to have an Drupal website relating to ART, for example.

I want to allow a single sign-on for my users (probably utilizing something like OpenID).

I want to allow a single user to have a profile (or identity) as an artist because he paints art.
I also want to allow that same user to have a second profile (or identity) as an art dealer, because he runs an art shop.

Rather than having him setup two different accounts with Drupal, I would like him to be able to login to my Drupal site only one time, but be able to create an Artist Profile, as well as Art Dealer profile.

I've looked around Drupal.org and the group here and I can't really find any discussions centered around anything like this.

Another NON-Drupal example, would be like Yahoo premium mail. Where you can login a single time, and access multiple email account profiles, if you have multiple email account profiles setup. You can switch between the email profiles.

I appreciate any feedback.

Kind Regards.

I want it for a slightly different reason, namely I want to be a normal user and system priviledged user so that most of the time I am just a user but when I need to do something fancy I can switch painlessly to my priv id.

Note that since this note was first posted, Mozilla Persona has appeared as an optional way of logging on.
