October Meeting. We really covered MANY topics at our October meeting:
- Supercron module prevents cron conflict with Apache SOLR indexing requiring complete rebuild of permissions.
- How to create a Forum Jump feature.
- Demo of Plupload - a great way to upload and manage graphics.
- More programming demos: CNR, Arrange_fields and more.
- Design demos, including Less, fontyourface and fontsquirrel.com
- November Meeting. We've got a two-parter.
John Ferris is going to give an overview of Typography in Web Design. He'll focus on general guidelines for effectively using line-height, size, letter-spacing and margins to make your sites more scannable, readable, usable and less lame. This won't be too Drupal specific, but we may get into some modules like @font-your-face for easily utilizing fonts outside the standard web safe faces we're used to.
Then, from Stephen Monaco's request, we are going to work on Stephen Monaco's site using content types and views. A great way for folks with a little more experience to give others a big jump start.
Location. At this moment we will be meeting at Monarch Digital's conference room. Monarch is located at 7680 Goddard Street, Colorado Springs, CO 80920. Go to the second floor and follow the signs. However, we might actually meet as an official club at UCCS. Stay tuned.
Time. Discussions will start at 6:30 pm, formally starting at 7 pm. We will end at around 9 pm.

Forum jump?
You mean the drop down list of forums at the bottom of a thread / topic list so you can jump to another forum? That's on the FR list for AF. I was intending to do with with CTools/Views. It's not hard to make but just one of those things I haven't gotten around to, yet. If you've got one working, any chance of a patch? :)

Custom module
We coded the Forum Jump feature ourselves in a custom module: http://www.mbca.org/forum
Of course, after we had it all done and working ,we found http://drupal.org/project/jump

Ok
I guess I'll just stick to the CTools / Views plan as those are both dependencies anyway and that simplifies it greatly.
Thanks,
Michelle
