Drupal Camps 2010 / Drupal Initiative e.V.
Nächstes Jahr planen einige Usergroups DrupalCamps, wie z.B. Essen, Berlin und auch wir in Köln haben schon seit einigen Wochen die Idee diskutiert, ein Camp Anfang Mai zu organisieren (nach der DrupalCon SF).

- Saturday, August 22, is for a D7 code sprint, Sunday is presentations, support for beginners, etc. ad-hoc.

- Drupal 7 Code Sprint with Dries - 10:00-18:00 CEST (GMT +2) with lunch break - local and remote developers will coordinate to create, review and commit patches to D7.
UPDATE - webchick will be with us helping commit our patches to D7. She'll be pulling an all-nighter from Toronto, so let's make it worth her while!

- Why and how we scaled a Linux-Sever with Xen for using Drupal for production (narres, opensoul)
- The Drupal Initiative e.V. (the German National Drupal Association) - Questions and answers about Germany's e.V. (non-profit association) dedicated to supporting the growth of Drupal. What infrastructure are we building and why you should become a member. (narres, opensoul)
- A strategy for a better understanding what Drupal is and visibility of Drupal in German-Speaking countries and regions (jackplain (?), ???)
- DrupalCon Deutschland - how and when can we bring the European Con to Germany?

- This is a rare chance to meet and talk with Dries in person at a smaller event. He'll be there both days.
- jam from Acquia (horncologne) will be available to help install Acquia Drupal on Windows and Mac using the Acquia Drupal Stack Installer. First-timers welcome!

jeden Donnerstag abend treffen sich Leute online, um gemeinsam an Übersetzungen von Modulen in Deutsche zu arbeiten.
Dazu wird der Editor gobby, die voice-chat-Software mumble und IRC #drupal.de auf Server: irc.freenode.net .

FrOSCon 2008 Drupal Room Schedule

This is the schedule of the Drupal room at the upcoming FrOSCon conference in Sankt Augusting (August 23-24). You can see the larger FrOSCon program here: http://programm.froscon.org/2008/
- The schedule is open to those who wish to present or organize a discussion of a topic.
- The style is "Bird of a feather" style, which means you can plan your meeting or topic for any time slot, and more than one discussion can be happening at the same time.
- The room is too small to support more than two discussions at a time, so go for empty time slots first, and don't plan anything for a time slot that already has 2 discussions.
- Create a new Discussion in this group for your project description and link to it from this page.

Drupal and the Semantic Web: Drupal RDF tools and building Drupal specific ontologies- Create a Drupal -> DocBook XML -> PDF publishing workflow. Great for self publishers and documentation writers. This talk will include discussion of the export_docbook module, bueditor module, imce module, the Apache Velocity DocBook Framework.
