og module

Das Modul soll erweiterte Funktionen für eine Gruppe (og) bereitstellen. Vorrangig sollen sich mit Hilfe des Moduls Vereine präsentieren können.

Last week we launched the beta of projectstars.com, an invite-only business network for consultants to share expertise, network, and find work.

projectstars.com comprises over 300 enterprise-focused communities and every three months we give shares to the top 100 scoring members, those who give most to the community. You get points from obtaining projects through the site (1,000 points per star, ranging from one to five stars), 100 point per star for posting a project, 10 points for a successful invite to the network, and one point per vote on any content you post.

I just posted an experience installing og on a multilingual site. The short version is that it ground to a halt because of the t() function. Maybe og is still a little early in it's 4.7 release, but I think it's an example of bad things happenning to good modules. Does anyone else have any experience, ideas about scaling t()? I can see there's some caching going on, and maybe I just need to adjust a cache size somewhere ...

aha, here it is: http://drupal.org/node/42463 - it's a problem with 'incomplete translations', and a proposed sql index fix didn't make it into 4.7 as per the discussion.
