We’re looking for more people to submit training proposals for DrupalCon Barcelona. We’ve received a pretty low number of proposals so far, so chances are pretty good for those who do submit.

If you’ve given training in your local community before, or at a camp, we’d love to hear from you. We’re looking for training sessions covering all levels and any area of Drupal that you find interesting. If you want to share your Drupal knowledge and get a little cash doing it, submit your idea to our team.

Leonard Daly from Daly Realism, and Dr. Meghan Coakley of the National Institutes of Health’s (NIH) 3D Print Exchange will be presenting at Los Angeles DrupalCon. Their two presentations illustrate various strategies to incorporate 3D graphics (X3D using X3DOM) into Drupal-based websites.

Hello Drupal LA community,

The core mentoring team is setting up a booth for DrupalCon LA 2015 to invite attendees to contribute to drupal by participating in the Mentored Core Sprints and the First-Time Sprinter Workshop.

For the booth, we need a flat screen monitor that can handle a usb stick with slides on it. This will be used to present the sprints' schedule, and BoFs information. We have limited budget so we kindly ask the local community for help on meeting this requirement. Can some lend us a monitor for use during the event?

I'm planning to attend the May 11 Community Summit at DrupalCon LA (https://events.drupal.org/losangeles2015/community-summit). I'm interested in a face to face conversation about reviving a regular (monthly or quarterly) Drupal Meetup in Ventura County. Christefano and I have had made a few attempts at this, but I think a face to face meeting on May 11th could help move our efforts forward.
