Decided to switch webhost?
Hello mga Ka Drupal,
Decided to switch webhost?
www.hostingphil.com makes switching hosts quick and easy. We'll even move your files and your databases from your old host to our servers for free.
Yes, we will gladly transfer your account over if the domain is currently hosted on a cPanel server.
Account transfer is provided as a courtesy to our clients. If you are not familiar to do any script reconfigurations or dns zone edits, we will do it as well. We will make sure everything is ok before changing the nameservers.
Hosting
What is everyone doing for web hosting? As a group, we could likely consolidate our sites to run on a single server optimized for Drupal (ideal PHP.ini settings, modules, etc) and save everyone a load of cash in the meantime.
Now, obviously, we probably don't want to share a server that is in charge of a BIG drupal site, because that runs the chance of blowing performance for everyone.
We could probably cover the cost of the server easily with what our clients are paying for current solutions, and get them an SLA (uptime promise) and improved performance.
Thoughts?
Hosting ... again ...
I know I have asked this question before, and I got great responses about hosting a drupal site.
I have one site, at one domain, at SiteGround, and though there is no phone support, I haven't had any problems ... yet.
The last thread warned us to stay away from Site5, and so I will.
My brother wants a web-site for his small business, and based on his needs: web-hosting, email, bandwidth, etc.
I wanted to find something that would meet his needs, start small and add services as needed.
There's going to be about 4 domain names just sharing the same drupal instance.
