Drupal 8 User Guide Sprint at Twin Cities Drupal Camp (or remote)
As you've probably noticed on https://groups.drupal.org/node/470648 -- we're planning to create a new Drupal 8 User Guide. The Twin Cities Drupal Camp is coming up on June 25-28, and they invited me (along with Joe/eojthebrave who was already going to be there), to jump start the User Guide project by holding a documentation sprint on their community sprints day, Sunday June 28. So, we're going to do this!

We want to focus on the different Multilingual issues.
We need people to check the existing help texts to see what functionality and wording has changed and where necessary rewrite them, as well as writing new texts for new modules and functionalities. We also need people to manually test the texts.

Another Drupalcon and another Docs Sprint! Join us in Panorama Hall or on IRC and help get the docs ready for Drupal 8.
Some of the work to be done includes trying out existing (or patched) hook_help, and checking for:
- Clarity
- Accuracy (Making sure the text matches what's on the admin screens)
- Completeness (Covers most or all of what the module does)
- Style
- Working links
An issue that lists all the D8 modules is here: https://drupal.org/node/1908570

This doc sprint is timed to coincide with and support the various Sprint Weekend events (http://groups.drupal.org/node/277768) which are taking place on March 9 and 10. This will allow attendees at any of those local events to also be a part of a global doc sprint.
There's plenty of work to be done, including general activity on the issue queue:

Friday there will be a Docs Sprint parallel with the Code Sprint at the conference center. I think we'll try and get going around 9am (sprint rooms should be open at 8am but I think everyone will be dragging by the end of the week, so 9am should be plenty early!)

There will be a room set aside for Docs Team at the DrupalCon CPH code sprint tomorrow. I will do my best to be there for the day (stomach permitting), but in case I am very late (or only join virtually on IRC) or anyone is looking for an outline of what to work on, I thought it'd be good to put up some info to get started with if you are planning on attending.
