Wow, it's February already! Mark the second Tuesday on your calendar for our next Drupal informal night meetup at the Railway pub in South Melbourne. All Drupalers welcome.

There is no set subject for the night, but feel free if you would like to suggest one - or show off a recent project. We just want to meet other Drupal users and keep the Drupal buzz going in Melbourne. You can expect discussion and sharing so join us if you can on 13 February 2007 at 6:30 .

Lots of people may be away in early January, but for those of you that aren't, we will be at the Railway on the second Tuesday for another Drupal informal night meetup. All past meetups have included lively discussions and sharing of tips and tricks so join us if you can on 9 January 2007 at 6:30 .

I'd love to explore some ideas with the group about the Lullabot seminar discussions and other Drupal training / promotional efforts. I'd also like to see a walk-through of Drupal 5 and decide if it's now time to upgrade our existing 4.7 sites. Or, we can just shoot the breeze and enjoy the holiday spirit. :-)

UPDATE ! The date for this month's meetup has changed due to popular demand! :-)

And of course the welcome mat is out to all Drupal open source developers that may be in town for OSDC 2006.

There seems to be heaps of interest to continue with our Drupal informal nights, so mark your calendar for the second first Tuesday of December. That makes it 12 5 December at 6:30 for the next pre-holiday edition informal meetup.

Let's keep it going. The 2nd Tuesday of November is nearly here and it will be the third informal Drupal get-together. We'll be there on Tuesday, 14 November from 6:30PM until 9:30PM.

As before, we'll be in the "back room" at the pub. Just ask anyone at the bar and they'll point you there.

Last month's demo was great, so if anyone has something to share remember that there is usually an open wi-fi connection. If you need some Drupal advice (or can give some) roll up for this friendly and social evening to share your ideas and a brew.

Well, the first one was such a success, and I received a few requests to do it again. One suggestion was to go for the 2nd Tuesday of each month.... so, let's give it a go and hope for an equally good turnout at the second informal Drupal get-together on Tuesday, 10 October 2006 from 6:30PM until 9:30PM.
