Drupalist since 2006. Small business and community sites, big-company intranets, e-learning reference sites.

Involved in e-Learning since 1995. Started with an MS Basic concordance for the Confucian Analects. 1998-2002 working on natural language processing, culminating on a dissertation project in Java that spidered Chinese newspaper sites and translated noun phrases from Mandarin into Taiwanese and English. Wrote some Flash games for Chinese vocabulary learning. Next was ESL and language testing (No Child Left Behind stuff). Now I'm an electronic publishing associate manager for a decent brand with global reach and I love it.

I also love bagpipes and comic/pop art. Alter ego as a Dad with a couple kids and a rural enough home to need to look outside for bear before opening the door.
