First entered IT at the back end of the days when mainframes were controlled by tele-types and you had to know a long series of keys to press just to load the machine up!
After a long career in IT from operations, system admin through to management etc etc decided to to set up my own commercial finance brokerage... big leap but that's what I did!
Inevitably IT crept quickly back into my life with the need for a business web-site , don't think it ever went away. After a time I realised that my main site was growing and needed more than just a html, css and javascript site and moved to the drupal CMS. The site has moved from 4.6 through to the latest 6.x version. Added php to my skill set, which was pretty easy for me as it is very similar to other programming languages I have used over the years. Various modules in use, quite a long list really, some tailored where necessary. The upshot is I really like drupal!
