Heat up your January by being a part of Western Mass Drupal Camp 2012!

BuildingGreen, Inc., a leading provider of sustainable design tools and resources to the building industry higher education markets, is seeking an enthusiastic and multi-talented Web Developer to work in our Brattleboro, Vermont offices. Any candidate must have at least 3 years of experience with both front-end and back-end Web development, including at least two years building database-driven websites on the Drupal platform.

We'll do lightning talks this month! Lightning talks are 5-10 minute presentations, each followed by a quick Q&A. If you would like to give a talk, please post the topic in the comments section below.

We'll meet in the conference room at Tyler, Simms & St. Sauveur again (thanks, Justin)! The office is in the Centerra complex in Lebanon, and the conference room is located around the back of the building, on the lower level.

And then afterwards, we'll adjourn to Margarita's for drinks.

Thanks to the leadership of Allie Micka and R.J. Steinert, the Snowball initiative to provide tools for coordinating and funding Drupal initiatives is coming to the Boston area this long weekend for its first code sprint.

We will focus on building a working alpha so we have something real to share for feedback, to refine, and to build process, message, and governance around.

We'll be working on Friday November 11th, Saturday the 12th, and Sunday the 13th starting at 10am on Friday and no later than that on the weekend days in Somerville, Massachusetts.

• Using git to grab the latest versions of modules and Drupal core.
• Making changes to contributed modules or core and how to do that responsibly.
• Contributing your changes back to Drupal.org for others to use.
• Understanding how your changes may be integrated back into the contributed project.
• How to make a public module or theme on Drupal.org and what to expect.

The VTA seeks to work with a firm or individual to transition its website to a new hosting service. The firm should provide full description of available hosting services and pricing for a one year and three year contract.
The priority in identifying a new website host and maintenance firm is to develop additional affordable features on the VTA website and to take in recommendations on updating the look of the site.
