This group meets monthly at venues around WNY, including Buffalo, Rochester, and Niagara Falls, NY. All of us have a hand in sites built with Drupal and/or use Drupal on a daily basis. Our active members are designers, developers, entrepreneurs, business people, and everything in between.
Meetings can be attended in person or online, where we talk about recent Drupal news, upcoming releases, learn about other members’ projects, and hear presentations on subjects that both matter to us and motivate the Drupal community.

Our client is a major software firm seeking a fulltime (9-5pm) Themer to join
their dynamic web dev group.
The job:
To translate design into Drupal theme using CSS. Taking the design from PhotoShop to template involves not just clean mark-up and attention to detail; it takes a commitment to quality and attention to the visual path defined by the design.
• CSS ninja skills, HTML, Javascript
• Must have solid experience (minimum 2 years) with Drupal.
• Experience with Views module and standard plugins (ideally versions 1.2- 2) and Panels (2-3)
Ubercart (D6) theming gig | Monster Assembly
We have a small job (one of many) that's pretty specific: custom theming of an ubercart checkout page experience. This is far more than CSS, rather moving the ubercart checkout panes around (side-by-side shipping & billing, etc) and some simple form alters. Plus the CSS bits. Okay, so it's not MUCH more than CSS, but still you kind of need to know ubercart (d6) theme layer.

Hey all,
I moved to Ithaca from California a few months ago and I'm just now starting to get back into working with Drupal. It looks like this is the closest geographical group to where I'm at. While I am interested in dropping by one of your meet-ups sometime, I'm also wondering if there are other folks working with Drupal who are a little closer to me and may be interested in doing some things closer to home. It would be good to know for people who want to carpool to a meet-up or start a smaller, local (sub)group. Anyone out there?
