DESCRIPTION: The Community Media Coordinator is responsible for researching new web functionality and web expansion project for ACTV, as well as administering and maintaining website, adopting relevant best practices whenever applicable. These include features, functions, and solutions to transform static information into an engaging web experience for web visitors. Hello, I've touched base with Eric (rapidsynergy)--from his earlier post regarding a meetup and we're both interested in setting something up. I've offered to host the meeting where I work, at the CPTV/WNPR Studios in Hartford. We don't have a date set yet, but we're hoping either for the end of this month (April) or beginning of next--some weeknight/evening (after work).

Feeling a little bit of a post-Drupalcon lull and mulling over travel plans to next weekend's DrupalCampNYC4, I found myself wishing that there was something a little bit closer to home to look forward to going to occasionally.

There doesn't seem to be a tremendous amount of activity within this group just yet. How successful have we been at getting a Drupal User Group started here in Connecticut? I am located in Middlebury and run my own web development business. I have been using Drupal for a little over a year now on various projects. I actually just got back from an exciting DrupalCon in Boston and am interested in helping build momentum for Drupal in Connecticut.

My client is an interactive agency looking for a Drupal Expert and a second position for a Drupal/PHP expert. They prefer temp to perm, but would consider long term contract or straight permanent. I'm working with friends on a couple new drupal sites including one about christian action figures and another about video games. For these sites I'd like to make a modified filter that will automatically does certain text substitutions to automatically reformat content. Does anyone have experience writing their own filter? Thanks!

I've just launched my travel site and am hoping to develop a custom theme for it that I can then donate to the Drupal community. Are there any designers/CSS ninjas around that are interested in collaborating on a travel-themed Drupal theme?

This person will provide development, installation and configuration support for community applications on web sites using existing Drupal platform. Includes extending the current community platform to support user comments on static content, and working within a team of Editorial, Program and Project Management staff to configure new forums and blogs for specific audiences. Activities may also include development of themes and modification and/or development of new modules to support integrated authentication with web site’s existing authentication processes.

Need Drupal experience and good PHP skills to complete a project presently underway. We are looking for a second pair of hands to assist another programmer complete large project.
