Mission

The Central Connecticut Drupal Meetup Group serves to build and strengthen the community of Drupal developers, designers, administrators, content creators and other stakeholders in Connecticut through organizing educational and interactive, monthly, face-to-face meetings. Come meet fellow Drupalists. Come learn what Drupal can do for you and the best practices to apply when using Drupal. Come help steer our group to become an invaluable source of information and networking opportunities. We are a passionate and fun group, enthusiastic to grow and help all those interested in Drupal - beginners, journeymen and experts - by sharing our collective knowledge, expertise, experiences and ideas.

Organization of the Meetups

Much of the business in organizing our Meetups is conducted online within the Connecticut Group on groups.drupal.org through postings of discussions, events and wiki pages. You may wish to subscribe to notifications for the group to be kept informed of Meetup information as well as other Drupal happenings across Connecticut. The wiki page entitled Central Connecticut Drupal Meetup Group, which you are now reading, serves as a primary online organizational resource for our Meetups. The wiki page entitled Suggested Activities for the Central Connecticut Drupal Meetup Group serves to collect suggestions from Meetup Group members for presentations and activities to be held at future Meetups, and serves to allow Meetup Group members to express their interest in giving some presentation or leading some activity.

  • Should you have a suggestion for a presentation or activity for a future Meetup, please add your suggestion or expand upon an existing suggestion on the wiki page for Suggested Activities.
  • Should you wish to give a presentation or lead some activity at a future Meetup, please add your name as an available presenter or activity leader on the wiki page for Suggested Activities.
  • Listed further down this page are the presentations and activities we have held at previous Meetups. You may suggest that we revisit a past topic or activity, again, by adding your suggestion on the wiki page for Suggested Activities.
  • At each monthly Meetup, we will review suggested presentations and activities, select presentations and activities for future Meetups, and assign interested presenters and activity leaders to those presentations and activities.

Should you have a more general suggestion or question regarding our Meetup Group, please post that suggestion or question as a New Discussion within the Connecticut Group, or contact Dr. Mark A. Friedman who currently serves as the organizer for the Central Connecticut Drupal Meetup Group.

Meetup Attendee List

The wiki page entitled Attendees of the Central Connecticut Drupal Meetups serves as a list of people (and contact information) who have attended previous Meetups. If you have attended one of our Meetups, please add your name and a link to your groups.drupal.org profile page to the list on the Attendees page. Feel free to return to the Attendees page and add to the list of dates of Meetups you have attended as you continue to attend our meetings to make it easier for other attendees to contact you in the future.
