I have a client with a great Drupal project at hand, and I am unable to work on it for them.

The Drupal site relates to journalism, and will likely be structured in a similar way to many journalism websites.

In addition, there will be a decent amount of taxonomy, views, CCK, and tpl.php work as the client wants to have nodes browsable by various criteria.

We're interested in the possibility of autogenerating an org chart with svg (or flash). We are currently using Visio to automatically create org charts from Active Directory data. This then is saved as awful visio html and manually uploaded to our site.

We have Drupal talking to Active Directory now, and would love to take the step of using Drupal to create the org chart dynamically.

Anyone tried this, or have ideas?

I currently have a drupal 4.7 site running that contains a database of business listings. The general idea of the module is to give business owners who have listings with our website "enhanced" control over their listing to manage the information we have on file, as well as add additional content to their listing.

Requirements:
- The modules needs to generate a unique (and secure) authorization code, so when new users sign up, they can put in their authorization code to gain accesss (switch ownership) of the referenced business listing.

I have a consumer information site in a very specific niche. I've got AdSense and Commission Junction accounts today, but I think it would be very feasible to sell CPM ads directly (since this is such a specific niche and I know a lot of the players personally). The question is, using what platform?

My closest competitor uses Open AdStream by Real Media (and they say this on their site!) but their site also happens to be written in ColdFusion so I don't think of them as cutting-edge...

I'm peach, or Jurriaan, from All Drupal Themes and I'm having some trouble finding good themes to port and release to the community. I've already ported several themes but it turns out there were some problems:
-Apparently people were more interested in 3-column themes
-Some of the themes were not deemed useful at all
-Most good looking themes I find are Creative Commons licensed, which makes sense from the designers point of view, but unfortunately they are not allowed on drupal.org/project/Themes. I was reassured when I signed up for a cvs account that I must not upload CC2.5 licensed themes, only GPL.

I've created this post to communicate with the Drupal community, for whom I make the themes, and hopefully some people have good ideas for themes to be ported to drupal! If anyone has a GPL theme in mind please post it in the comments sections.

If you know of a gorgeous CC licensed design, it's also eligible for a free drupal port but I will put it up with my free drupal themes department but it won't show up on drupal.org/project/Themes.

Basically, what do you all do to get the information from your clients that you need and what work flows do you use?

Our agency is building an Intranet on Drupal 5.3. The Intranet includes a DAM (Digital Asset Manager) based on Acidfree Albums. We need to do many things to the site to get it launch-ready, including (but not limited to):

1. Add support to Acidfree / Drupal Image modules for the following file formats (including thumbnailing via ImageMagick/php-imagick): TIFF EPS AI (Illustrator) SWF AVI FLV MOV MP3 PDF (I have TIFF nearly done, including PhotoShop-specific TIFF).

2. Help build a Theme (based on Garland) specific to the Intranet.

I am in need of as Senior a DRUPAL expert as we can find for a LONG term and ongoing CONTRACT situation. All work is TELECOMMUTE 100% from your home office. A very very robust undertaking that uses Drupal CMS at its core. Contract could literally run well into 09 . This project is REALLY funded and the corporation understands MARKET RATE. I have 2 consultants working on this project now and I have a long and successful relationship with the hiring authorites. They use only me to find talent for these roles and trust me as I do them.
