A nonprofit in Old Town Alexandria in a beautiful office right on the water, accessible by metro (free shuttle). A great group of people, completely fun environment.  Not your typical nonprofit.  IT department is challenging, creative and always working on new and exciting technologies ( blogs, podcasts, open source, ruby on rails, .net , CF, PHP, MYSQL, Virtualization, FinalCut, S3, Cloud Computing ).  If it’s web, we do it.

Having stumbled on drupalchix and read Laura Scott's ( of pingv.com) article on the invisibility of women in the field, I wanted to see if I can find a savvy and affordable developer interested in designing a quality data-base driven dynamic website for a volunteer-run community council/non-profit representing 60,000 people?

Looking for a web developer to build platform on which we can integrate shared image submission and editing through a flash editor, enhanced viewing using AJAX, and centralized content. Strong PHP and MySQL required. Is a fairly basic drupal implementation but will need some code customization to allow for easy integration of the Flash and AJAX pieces. Also requires some minor custom theming and CSS work.

I'm looking for a designer to make a custom drupal theme for http://baseballcoasttocoast.com ... We are looking for something similar that is up now, but a more professional look.

I am the drupal developer on the project and need someone with theme design experience. We will discuss contract and approach.
