Drupal Camp India (http://drupalcamp08.drupalindia.in ) - The first ever Drupal Camp in India is scheduled between 8 to 10 August at DAIICT. The venue is Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Technology, one of the best high tech campuses of India.
This will be a 3 day event:
Fri 8th August 2008 - Day 1 : 1 PM to 7:30 PM : Sessions ( 3 Parallel Tracks - 4 sessions in 1 hall - total 12 sessions in the day )
Sat 9th August 2008 - Day 2 : 9 AM to 7:30 PM : Sessions ( 3 Parallel Tracks -7 sessions in 1 hall - total 21 sessions in the day )
Sun 10th August -2008 - Day 3 : 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM ( Job Fair)
1:00 PM to 7:00 PM ( Ahmedabad Darshan - Tour to International Delegates )
1:00 PM to 7:00 PM ( Code Sprint - for Developers )
Mon 11th August 2008 - Business Lunch (sponsored by Gloscon and OpenKick Technologies)

There are 3 parallel tracks (Marketing - Why Drupal, Drupal for Professionals, Drupal for Students).
Your answer could be in format of "Session" (Track) and you are free to recommend all 3 options in the same track if you wish.

Hello All Drupal lovers,
We proudly annouce the venue for Drupal Camp India at DA-IICT, Gandhinagar. Although it took really long for us as far as finalization of the venue is concerned, we finally got DA-IICT venu approved for first ever DrupalCamp in India between 8 to 10 August, DA-IICT is a well-known institute situated at Gandhinagar, the capital city of Gujarat.

I saw this group and was very happy as I always thought that Its not easy to find drupal developers from India, Saw few interesting profiles in soc-2008, So lets introduce ourselves here and see if we can form a group of Indian drupal developers. It will be great if we can build this group and meet in real like in 6 months or so and have a network. I don't know what I am aiming for here, I just get jealous when I can't attend BAD camp meetings or drupalcon, so yeh I would want something to happen in India. Alright enough with grudges and regrets, Lets get to business ..
