Fosdem, the Free and Open Source Developer's European Meeting takes place february 6 & 7 at ULB Campus Solbosch in Brussels. Drupal is one of the projects that has a Developer Room on Sunday February, 7 from 09:00 to 17:00, full of nice people and inspiring talks.

We are looking for motivated volunteers that can help organizing the Drupal Developer Days Brussels that take place February 4 - 6, 2011. http://bxl2011.drupaldays.org . This is a free event which aims at fostering the Drupal software and its community.
The current organizing team consist of a small band of talented volunteers, but to make this event shine we need help from much more people.
Volunteers with all kind of profiles are welcome. Currently we are looking for people that can help by:
- Getting sessions on video
- Writing copy for the website

The first European Drupal Developer Days conference will take place on Saturday and Sunday February 5th & 6th, 2011, at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel in Brussels, Belgium. This two day event will be preceded by a code sprint on Friday the 4th.

Call for devrooms Fosdem 2011
Fosdem launched its call for developer rooms for Fosdem 2011 (taking place 5 & 6 februari 2011 in Brussels).
As last year, the Fodem organizers prefer that the room will not be exclusively about one opensource project (e.g. "drupal") but about one topic (e.g. "CMS")
The deadline for the proposal will be October 166, 2010.
Will we be organizing a Drupal-room in February?

Call for talks for Fosdem 2010 devroom
Use this post to propose talks for the Drupal devroom at FOSDEM 2010 on Sunday 7 February, 2010 (9:00 - 17:00).
The final date for proposing talks is Saturday January 23 16, 2010
The selected talks will be announced around Sunday January 24 17, 2010

Also add the approximate duration of your presentation (30, 45 minutes or 15 minutes if you are planning a blitztalk)
After the deadline has passed, the devroom organizers will define the final schedule.
OSCMS devroom will be Drupal devroom
Due to a couple of unforeseen events we had to ask the FOSDEM organization to change the subject of our devroom from "OSCMS" to "Drupal". The FOSDEM organizers accepted this change.
As a result we will have a "normal" Drupal devroom with , hopefully, plenty of interesting talks.

Our request for the devroom at FOSDEM 2010 has been accepted.
We get room H.2214 with 100 seats for 1 day, on Sunday 7th February from 09:00 to 17:00
It has only half the capacity of the devrooms we had previous years. So I guess we dropped a bit in the pecking order.

Via the fosdem mailing list I hear there may be folks from spain wanting to do a talk about Nuxeo.

Fosdem launched this morning it's call for developer rooms for Fosdem 2010 (taking place 6 & 7 februari 2010 in Brussels).

The upcoming FOSDEM will be held on the weekend of the 6 and 7 February 2010 in Brussels (at ULB's Solbosch campus, as usual).
It will be Fosdem's 10th anniversary (including the first edition that was called "OSDEM").
The timeline for submitting developer room and stand requests will be communicated soon.
As usual we'll try to claim a dev room.
