The Grand Rapids Drupal User Group (GRupal) is a collection of developers, designers, content managers, and businesspeople who use Drupal personally or professionally. We meet monthly, at 6PM on the first Monday of the month, at The Factory (38 Fulton S. West, Suite 400). Our meetings involve presentations on technical topics, assistance with each others' projects, and social time for networking and relaxation.

Hi Jon:
Perhaps you can give guidance to me on this matter. And if you don't have time, I understand of course.
A programmer on a site I work with was having trouble with a collapsed field group not opening and says that there is a bug in the views_slideshow.js I wondered if you could look at this patch and tell me if this is something I should pass on to the folks that maintain that module or if, instead, this is not needed or even a symptom that he's done something wrong in the module he built.

April GRupal Meetup - Drush
Pichot and I are going to be talking about Drush - the Drupal shell. There are some wicked rad command line power tools that make installing and maintaining Drupal as easy as cake. If anyone has any specific questions relating to Drush we can address them during our presentations.

So I feel i should know how to do this, but I've either forgot how or I'm missing something obvious.
I want to create a view that filters recent Forum posts to the current, active user. In other words, each user is able to see just his or her recent Forum posts or Forum comments.
I realize there is a User filter for Currently logged in user. I also realize this may involve an "argument." But i can't seem to limit the list of recent Forum activity just to one's own.
Any thoughts?

February GRupal Meetup - Context Module
It appears that we've agreed our next meetup should be Monday, February 21st. We'll be meeting at 1110 Wealthy St SE at 6pm.
As was decided at the end of our last meeting, I'll be talking about the Context module. (http://drupal.org/project/context)
I'll give an overview of what it does, why it's needed, and how it works. Expect a demo. I'd also love to give everyone access to some test server so you can follow along on your own computers. We'll see.

In this meeting we'll take a look at sub-theming. Ross will get us started with a short overview of sub-theming using the Zen theme as an example. After he explains the why and how of creating a subtheme, we'll then ask others in the group to jump into the discussion with their own take on why and how to begin sub-theming. If time permits, we'll begin to build in the Zen theme and work with the CSS.

It's everyone's favorite time of month again! We have really been dropping the ball in terms of deciding what we are going to do ahead of time. So I propose a good old fashioned show and tell unless someone has a topic they would like to present on.
We can have a couple people present 15 minutes each on a module/view/theme etc. of their choosing.
