I know there are users in Houston
I know you're out there, so come out of the woodwork and throw in your two cents. Eventually we can set up a meeting where we can swap ideas.
Bring your friends!
Let's try to get as many people together as we can, and start up a regular meeting. We can all learn new things, share ideas and gain perspective. Any requests for presentation topics?
I am interested in flash integration at the moment. Anyone out there a big flash user?
Show and Tell
I was thinking it might be useful to share the things we are working on in order to exchange ideas, critique, give suggestions, learn... yada yada yada.
Hello!
Hi there. I'm a rising Junior at Rice University and I have recently gotten into Drupal. I am using it to create a new website for the Student Association. The site should be up and running in the next few days at http://sa.rice.edu . I might be interested in a Houston meetup of some sort. There are plenty of good places to meet on campus if people are interested in that.

Looking for a Dru*PAL* in Houston
Hi Houstonians,
I am new(bie) to Drupal. I have a fastrack web project that I thought Drupal would save me time on. Then I read the 'pro drupal development book' and realized customizing may be a project unto itself. Im interested in anybody that is willing to let me bounce ideas off, ask questions and advice, and maybe even hire for tutoring or development if I get desperate. Living in the Houston Heights.
Thanks,
Bruce
My first Drupal site!
I just launched my first Drupal site for the Rice University Student Association. Let me know what you think - criticisms are especially useful to me!
Thanks,

Drupal Theming Workshop presented by Digett
Topic for meeting/discussion?
Does anyone have a suggestion or a specific problem to address? I suspect we could all benefit from some meetings, and it might even be fun!
I'd love to organize something for June or July, but I think a topic would be a good start.
Any suggestions for location?
My New Site is Slow :-(
Hey guys,
This is a new site (myresearchfunds) I created to help university professors connect with the industry and get funding. However, the site seems to be a little slow. One reason could be the server perhaps (its on a shared host by networksolutions.com) or perhaps there are too many modules being employed. Are there any other reasons a site could be slow (there isn't too much traffic as of now).
If you guys can have a look and let me know how you find it, that'll be great. Any criticism is wholeheartedly welcome :-)
Thanks.
