We're gonna try something new next week. I'll be working downtown at ZooTown Brew on Monday, October 25 from 1:00pm - 7:00pm, and I invite any interested group members to stop by for part or all of that time for a bit of co-working.
This means that, if you come, you can just sit and work on your own projects, converse with others about Drupal or CSS or whatever, or look to others for help with any specific questions you may have.
How to get the most out of this session
Everyone is welcome to attend. You don't have to help anyone else out, if you don't want to. However, most people have something to offer other people. If someone has a question to which you know the answer, don't hesitate to help them out.
If you have questions/problems you want some help resolving at this session, here are some tips to get the best results:
- A general "help me with Drupal" probably isn't the best way to approach it. Think of a specific area or two in which you need the most help.
- This isn't limited to Drupal questions. HTML, CSS, etc, etc are welcome topics, too.
- Respect that others may be working. If the topic drifts too far from where it started, it may be time to reel things back in or give the helper/helpee a break.

So. There.
Sounds great, Scott! The first date says Nov. 25th, but sounds like this is going down today. Either way I am definitely there!

"October"
Dumb mistake! Yes, October is correct. Today. I've updated the post.

I plan to drop by at some
I plan to drop by at some point!
I'd like to stop by...
I'm not sure how that is going to work out.
Very cool!
Hi Scott - I'd been wondering about the same kind of idea - thanks for taking the initiative to start something like this! It doesn't look like I can make it today, but hope to participate in the future.
There's this cool think that I came across at an open space conference in Arizona - the event was at a collaborative space. Not exactly co-working - as usually that involves some kind of payment from the participants. It's a mostly free collaborative space, hosted by a non-profit supported by the city and a grant. Maybe it's something we could get to happen here in Missoula.

Cool
That's a cool idea. I'd love for Missoula to have some co-working or permanent collaborative space in place!

Good Stuff.
As usual, much learned. Doors are opening and probably some windows too! Always great to check out the work of other peers, always inspiring.
Future casual co-working sessions would be awesome. Any night after 5 works for me.
Looking forward to it,
-Brett
