Drupal in the Philippines

Events happening in the community are now at Drupal community events on www.drupal.org.

We'd like to know who is using Drupal in the country. This will help us bolster our business case for Drupal in the Philippine context. So far, we know of the following:

  1. Department of Health Portal
  2. Haribon Foundation
  3. Poverty Environment Network
  4. http://newsmekong.org -- A media NGO
  5. http://swapinitiative.org -- Art Gallery ito :)

Shameless plugs:
6. http://blog.couchkamotereviews.ph -- my, ahem, blog
7. http://digitalsolutions.ph -- our company site

I also know that UP Open University is using Drupal (an old version) in their internal site (for students), after I tried to convince them hehe. Incidentally, they also use Moodle now (shifting from an old, kludgy LMS called IVLE).

Any others? You may also read an article about the Drupal business case titled Why Choose Drupal?.

Thanks!

Jan,

Congrats sa shift! :)

Sample of problems sa homegrown system: dun sa isang blog site na ginagamit ko, they still use a homegrown CMS. ang daming problema. sakit ng ulo. understandable na they grew their own, dahil nung nag-start sila, di pa mature ang technology. but holding on to a clunky cms at the expense of users does not make sense!
