We've produced a few videos at Acquia and would like to embed them in some http://groups.drupal.org groups. For example, one video is a showcase of 35 Drupal sites, another is a video of 50 Drupal newspapers and magazines.
For customers, I've used the embed filter module with a whitelist of video sites. What's the state of the art for videos on http://groups.drupal.org?

Group header only supports embedding images
The header on the newspaper group only support images. It would be great if we could replace a static image with a flash video of 50 newspaper sites.
