The next Western Mass Drupal Meetup will be on Tuesday, July 1.

Great turnout at the meeting this past Tuesday. Thanks to David Hamilton for hosting the meeting and offering to host this meeting as well.

I assume same location: Amherst College campus, Webster 102 - but check back here before the meeting to make sure.

Please suggest agenda items for the next meeting by posting comments below.

Check back here later for updates.

AGENDA (in process):

  1. Overview of e-commerce options for Drupal - Walter Wilkinson
  2. Pubcookie and the drupal pubcookie module - David Hamilton

Sorry to miss it

I am so sorry I missed this one - schedule conflict at the last minute. Glad to hear all went well and look forward to the next one. How was the parking situation?

We're all set for the same location

Hi folks,

I just reserved the room now, so we're all set for the same location. I'll try and get the drupal flyers out posted earlier this time around to make it a bit easier to find Webster on campus. Also I should have noted last time that nowhere on the building is it labeled as Webster - look for the building with "Geology" above the door and a series of names carved in the stone band in between the first and second floors. As with last time, there's wifi available for guests, a projector, and workstations, along with ample seating. Here's a google map view of the college campus, and here's a screencap with Webster, the Lord Jeff, and the campus loop map highlighted.

In terms of agenda items, if folks like I can talk about pubcookie and how we're using the drupal pubcookie module for psuedo single sign on in our implementation.

Hi Dave I will like to know

Hi Dave
I will like to know more about pubcookies and pseudo single sign on.

Thanks for getting the room and refreshments,

Room for more Presentations?

poobux - Mon, 2008-06-23 01:52

I'll be attending for the first time. I could offer an overview of e-commerce options for Drupal (this is one example) if there was a desire to have more presentations.

That would be great -

That would be great - thanks. I'd be really interest in this myself. I am building a site right now using Ubercart, which so far I find easier to use that eCommerce, but I haven't used either very much. I put this on the agenda.

What Makes a Presentation?

poobux - Mon, 2008-06-23 21:38

Kool, but what sort of presentation should I prepare? I don't have a laptop to tote along for a Powerpoint presentation, for example. And for how long will I be allowed to blather on, on this topic?

You can use my laptop if you need to.

Thanx, J, though it looks like the supplied equipment will do OK.

Probably the best thing is

Probably the best thing is just to show how you have used ecommerce on sites you have built. In the meeting room there is a computer hooked up to a projector so you can use that.

Ok,

OK, how long a talk should I assume?
