We look forward to getting your feedback on the release in the coming days. Bugs should be reported via our bug tracking system (linked on
the bottom of every page). Please select v1.5 in the "Fix For" dropdown.

Incredible functionality!

Wow! I've been playing around at http://demo.civicrm.org/drupal/ and find the functionality simply incredible!!!

Although I won't be fully using CiviCRM for at least a few weeks due to other commitments as well as time constraints, I appreciate all the excellent work done by the wonderful developers to get us to the current beta stage.

Thank you so much and please keep up the excellent work!

THANKS, development looks really great, may i throw in a few points on the first glance:

seems like USERS and CONTACTS are still two different things - this is an ugly design error, please fix it - do generic PERSON records with FLAGS (1 = user / 0 = not user)

There still does not seem to be a role / group / security model for real life implementations, it´s ok for small groups, but impossible to implement more complex scenarios (like e.g. assign members of group X to Usergroup Y and let all the bosses of group X and Y see also the other records... and so on, stuff like you need in real life)

GOOD that you removed that really ill phplist thingy (if it is really removed - but looks like... doing exec php within an php script was really funny!) of course, it is still not a good idea to let anything else then MAILMAN handle the mailing stuff...

PLEASE do yourself a favour and take at least one or two glances at sugarcrm.com or / and vtiger.com to learn something about modern, usable interface building. Civic is still not really usable with thousands of contact records (import / export / sorting / filtering). Thanks!

All the other stuff is going on quite well!

How about Asterisk integration?

have a nice day,
Future
