Hi, i'm newbie to this group, though been around Drupal since 5.0.
I would just like to congratulate Marc.Robinsone for his awesome presentation of Drupal here in Cebu at the just concluded 1st Philippine Open Source Summit. He really did a great job that even a "manang" got so much interested. I for one had all my body cells fully awakened what with the sleep-inducing afternoon aided by the previous so-so sessions. Sayang I was not able to take a pic.
KUDOS!

new movement for a united PH-FOSS community
... oh btw, the summit has tickled everyone (i think) who attended, to realize the need to unite the fragmented PH-FOSS players from all sectors alike & organize into a collective community, to spearhead the FOSS advocacy in the Philippines ... every Pinoy is urged to JOIN, initial venue for discussions/argumentations is @ http://groups.google.com/group/ph-foss, and please pass the buck ...

Thank you very much Mr. Ed Cazini! I humbly take your acknowledgment 100% by heart. I share this warm compliment to my fellow Drupal peeps in this group.
I'm very glad that you found that session to be "awakening". I could relate to your feelings, but I did find myself chilling to death due to the room's low temperature.
We are looking forward to see you posting here as well. Feel free to share you thoughts on the amazingly successful POSS event.
For now, I need to recover from fatigue and information overload lol..
Again, thanks and welcome to the Philippines Drupal Group! Kudos back to you sir ;)
I hope that our "manang" participant is enjoying Drupal at the comfort of her own machine.
Yours truly,
Marc

Hi Heinz.
Of course I remember you! It's hard to forget you even if I tried :)
Hey, congratulations on that new Drupal site! I think you'll just need some theming job done and it's all good. ;)
Sayang hindi ka nakabisita sa Cebu. I met with John Clark and Drew back there at the CICC.
This week I will be sharing the things that I have learned at the convention. I'm kinda getting my energy back because I got so stressed due to Frank.
Salamat sa pagbati! Stay safe always.
