What Date and Do we brown bag it?
What Date and Do we brown bag it?
We'll provide coffee and
We'll provide coffee and some snacks, but consider bringing a brownbag.
The date is listed above (the 17th -- this thursday).
So is it official?
First of all I appreciate the fact that you are trying to pick up the ball and run with it. My experience when doing this is that I get a lot of trouble for my effort. So, I want you to know that I really really appreciate what you are doing and know that it is a big effort to do this last minute. Thank you so very much!
So, is it official that we are moving the meeting to a new location? Are you sure everyone will know? Hate to miss anyone. I have to travel about 45 minutes one way and don't want to go to a poorly attended meeting due to a last minute location change. Plus I would like to see this come off well for everyones sake.
Please advise,
Gary P.
Hey Gary, Yeah, unless there
Hey Gary,
Yeah, unless there are objections, I think it's more or less official. We let everyone know that it was an option at the last DUG, so hopefully everyone got the word.
Just to be on the safe side, I'll drop by River City and let them know to direct everyone here if they stop off.
Regards,
-=Aaron
Attendance
Also, based on the Attendees tab above, looks like we're on track for at least 5 participants...
Pizza with anchovies and cck
Aaron, I'll bring a few pizzas and drinks to help out.
If we're still looking for topics of discussion, I would vote for a discussion about modern module development -- especially the role of CCK in custom node modules.

I can't make it, but +1 for CCK
Unfortunately the drive from Denver is a bit further than my commute from Reno was, but if you do end up discussing the role of CCK in custom node modules, please review this post I made last week....
http://groups.drupal.org/node/12984
I'd like to get more feedback on the need to protect cck content types and fields that these "hybrid" modules have dependencies on.
Pizza pizza!
I'd be happy to bring a few pizzas also ... if someone would be kind enough to tell me where to get them from and provide a phone number... (Am about 1.5 hours from Sac so not sure what the best / nearest pizza to Work Habit?)
Local pizza places
There's a few nearby. See http://www.yelp.com/search?find_desc=pizza&ns=1&rpp=10&find_loc=919+20th...
Original Pete's is on the corner of our block. 100 feet away.
Reminder: Drupal Meetup is tonight!
Hey gang,
We're trying to get a good headcount for tonight's gathering.
If you're interested in coming, please click the "signup" button above so we can make sure we have enough coffee, seating, and food for everyone.
