Looking for an independent contractor/company that's familiar with Drupal, working with Google maps and must be an expert in database design with knowledge in mySQL/PHP/CSS.

We are looking for a sustained, long term relationship for ongoing feature updates for a site that was built in Drupal.

This person/company must be located in the Sacramento area, applicants from outside this area will immediately be discarded.

Any Drupal / PHP developers interested in working with a startup and earning stock options in your spare time? MedHealth Solutions, a Sacramento/Davis area startup, is looking for a Senior Web Developer with extensive PHP / Drupal / LAMP experience to help us enhance our MealWell service (www.mealwell.com) to meet the requirements of a large customer. Also, the script that Ben Shell showed off can be downloaded here (change the file extension to .sh after you download): "This script can be used to update Drupal core to the latest maintenance release. It creates and applies a patch to your site with the changes between your version of Drupal and the latest maintenance release. Folders are not overwritten and changes made to the settings.php and .htaccess files are not lost. When Drupal is checked out with CVS this script isn't necessary." - Ben also mentions to use the script at your own risk and to make a backup first. ;-)

Hi, I have just signed up to this group. I am based in Davis. I am going to be managing a project of redeveloping a website within Drupal (www.tni.org). Whilst we have contracted a web collective to develop it, I am keen to learn the technical basics of Drupal myself, probably by setting up a personal website. Are there any courses people can recommend where I could learn? I found one that looked good in Santa Barbara (www.drupaltrainer.com) but it's a bit of a trek. Any pointers appreciated. When I am a bit more up to speed, I will try and make one of your meetings. thanks, Nick
