heya, i've been shopping around for a new host to use for myself and also recommend to 3 other companies.
i need to host in ireland... and just regular shared hosting services would be what i'm looking for.
i'd like to know if anyone recommends their host?

Ical feed
check out blacknight.ie,
check out blacknight.ie, excellent support and very reasonable. letshost.ie is also worth looking into.
i use blacknight
i have a reseller account on their shared hosting server. generally good. does go down or slow down occasionally. support generally good though they do occasionally lose or forget an issue. price is good for what you get, in ireland. i also have a reseller account on a usa-based webhost - they're called idologic and they're excellent - fast support, good performance, and of course cheaper because american hosting is generally cheaper.
Novara
I have used Novara for the last 3 years.
Have a few differerent accounts - A reseller account and some basic hosting accounts.
Support is excellent - once you get used to the idea of logging a ticket rather than picking up the phone.
Blacknight have a good rep too, but I haven't used them.
Letshost.ie seem alright, barely used them though.

hosting365 is the cheapest
hosting365 is the cheapest out here, but I would not recommend it for their poor support. I find their infrastructure tend to go down regularly.
blacknight...
I've hosting with blacknight hosting365 digiweb ... and so on :D
(my customers have hosting with one or two irish companies)
My personal recommendation would be Blacknight. I've shared hosting and a VPS with them (that I'm finally getting to grips with)
