Drupaldojo.com seems to be down
I've been trying to get to drupaldojo.com for a few days now, and running into difficulty.
I'm using openDNS and get the following error.
The computers that run drupaldojo.com are having some trouble. Usually this is just a temporary problem, so you might want to try again in a few minutes.
Want more detail? See which nameservers are failing.
Nameserver trace for drupaldojo.com:
* Looking for who is responsible for root zone and followed h.root-servers.net.
* Looking for who is responsible for com and followed i.gtld-servers.net.
* Looking for who is responsible for drupaldojo.com and followed ns1.firebright.com.
Nameservers for drupaldojo.com:
* ns1.firebright.com returned (SERVFAIL)
* ns2.firebright.com returned (SERVFAIL)
However, going to DownForEveryoneOrJustMe showed that it's up, so the problem appears intermittent.
In asking on #drupal-dojo, several others were having this issue as well,
http://downforeveryoneorjustme.com/drupaldojo.com
Should I file an issue on the project list, or is notification here sufficient?

Same for me
I first noticed when I was reading my RSS feeds and I would get a feed failed to load error. I also get the same on http://downforeveryoneorjustme.com/drupaldojo.com, that it's just me, but as previously mentioned some other folks got the same message in the IRC channel.

Hmm, this seems wierd
I'll send out a couple of inquisitive emails and see what the problem is.

The nameservers need to be changed
We're going to have to change the nameservers. The site should be back online within 24 hours or so. Sorry gang!

Nameservers are down
It appears that firebright's nameservers are down. Both primary and secondary. They should have others so I dug around a little. Add a tertiary NS record to the drupaldojo registrar should clear it up, I think.

Still down

Its still down for me too.
I think the usual waiting time for nameserver record propogation is 24~48hours.

ns0.dnsmadeeasy.com has removed the zonefile
To whomever is attempting to resolve this. Since I made the above dig query to the same namservers firebright/workhabit is using and got an affirmative, someone, or something has removed the drupaldojo.com zonefile.
Ergo,
A) we should figure out the IP of the server actually housing the site, and DNS or no, get a backup.
B) Decide which nameservers we want the zonefile to reside on, and restore or recreate it.
Cheers.
P.S. Someone mentioned that they had no idea what I meant by all this. Let me know if I need to clarify anything.

Is there any progress to report?
seeking also, the video (even if it's poor quality) to lesson #24, if anyone has it available.
drupaldojo still down
It's been down for at least a week now. Anyone have idea what's going on? There are some video's I'd really love to see...
DrupalDojo video torrents
I have most of the Drupal Dojo videos archived. I've just created my first torrent seed... Containing Drupal Dojo lesson #24: Views Theming. I've setup a torrent in Vuze (formerly Azureus) and have completed uploading and am currently seeding the file. Here's the torrent: http://www.vuze.com/details/6I73LARQCTQFRFPYC3MFGV4Y2NUDQCI2.html
If for some reason that link doesn't work, try searching for the Tags: "theming drupal themes dojo views" along with the title "Drupal Dojo lesson #24. Views Theming tutorial". Hopefully it will appear in cyberspace soon.
Let me know of other specific requests and I'll work on getting torrents created.
Best,
David
Wow
I got a top download speed of 1.4 downloading this, thanks to all the seeders and the uploader, I'll continue seeding this as well.

Lesson 64
Thanks for making the videos available as torrent downloads. Could you make "Lesson 64: Using og_panels on groups.drupal.org" available? Thanks again.
Please add to the handbook
Hey folks, Senpai and I have decided that we will start putting the links to the videos in the d.o handbook (where they should probably be anyway). I started a new section under the vidocasts, called Drupal Dojo. Each lesson should get a child page added under there with a short description of the lesson and a link to the video (either on blip.tv, torrent, or both). Senpai and I will start grabbing the files off the server so we can load them up to blip and vuze inthe next few days but if other folks already have local copies and can do likewise (and make a handbook page so everyone can find it!) then it will speed the whole process up.
EDIT: also please note that a number of the vids already exist on blip and/or vuze so don't upload again if you don't need too. thanks folks!
Lullabot loves you
I did a bunch of these
I did a bunch of these yesterday. I think I got most of the ones already on blip, that were obviously dojo vids, anyway. Then I did all the mini-lessons, and started doing the regular lessons-- so far I've done the ones I refer people to watch the most. It's a shame, but it looks like there was a problem with lessons 39 and 40-- there's no video posted for them. Also, looks like there was a problem with numbering-- the og panels lesson jumps to #64 (the previous lesson was #42).
I figure to work on the rest in reverse chronological order as time permits.
Use drupaldojo.net
Use drupaldojo.net for the meantime. See http://groups.drupal.org/node/13620
