Hi,
Here's a couple of tools that may help in monitoring MySQL performace:
- mysqlresources script - Measuring resources for a MySQL server on Linux (looking at /proc)
- innotop script - MySQL and InnoDB monitor (requires InnoDB)
Anyone using similar scripts to monitor high performance mysql servers?
Cheers

mtop and tuning primer
mtop is a very good tool to monitor MySQL in real time.
The tuning primer is also a good tool, but the colors in it annoy me. I have a version which does plain text so it can be piped to a file, ...etc.

mysqlreport
I have mysqlreport on a nightly cron.
It's the best summary tool I have found, and it now supports InnoDB analysis.

DBTuna
We have DBTuna monitoring several MySQL servers in test and prod.
We've had loads of success with it because you can just keep it running 24x7 and it will show you the over-time resource usage and give you drilldown into what is taking the time.
MySQL enterprise monitor,
MySQL enterprise monitor, has anyone tried this solution? I am going to test out the trial soon, I am sure there are comparable open source alternatives but I am interested in trying out more solutions.

Tried Enterprise monitor on Drupal.org
We tried MySQL Enterprise monitor o Drupal.org. It looked really good. We are working to use it beyond the trial.
